RETREATS and GUEST HOUSE
The Guest House is attached to the Monastery and is available for retreats or quiet time out throughout most of the year. When booking be sure to specify your preferred dates to ensure the Monastery is open. If you or a member in your group has a specific need such as dietary or reduced mobility etc. There is some ground floor accommodation and the Guest House does not have a lift.
Who would like to come?
You can organize your own private retreat, quiet time out, simply by email or telephoning to book the time you wish to come. The atmosphere is one of quiet and prayer. If you would like to speak with somebody for spiritual direction while here, just ask when booking and preference of priest or sister. If you wish you can come to any of the organized retreats that are held throughout the year and usually published on our home page.
Suggested Price: €50 per day. There is a one-off fee for bed sheets (€6) and towels (€2.50). You are welcome to bring your own. If this price is too much feel free to contact us: firstname.lastname@example.org
Organised retreats start in the evening at 6 p.m. with a light meal, unless stated otherwise. Please register at least two weeks in advance regarding purchases.
Holy Mass and Divine office are open to the public.
Groups are catered for, maximum of twenty persons. You can organize your own group retreat with spiritual director or you can request a retreat leader. Groups also can attend the organized retreats. It is advisable to book well in advance to ensure availability.
Self-catering facilities are available.
Families are also welcome for quiet breaks or retreat time and throughout the year there are specific retreats for families.
Priests are welcome to attend retreats. Specific retreats in English are held for priests in July and November.
Length of Stay
It is possible to stay from 1 day to 30 days.
